Piro's auctioning off artwork. A _gorgeous_ piece of Miho. Not my favorite character in the comic, but daaaaaaamn. I so want. Of course, it's hit 672.90 and there're 5 days left still, so I'm doomed forever to look at the digital and dream...
I think a lot of the reason I like Fred Gallagher's art is the same as a lot of the reason I like Chris Baldwin's. Both of them use a monochromatic (or grayscale, I suppose, in Fred's case) medium and create detailed, textured works of illustration, and that's a style I enjoy. Neither of them use a lot of really complex techniques, because it's not necessary. hm.
Oh, and I like their stories, too.
