So much to learn...
Sep. 4th, 2005 11:33 pmToday was delightful in many ways - I got to participate in some way in the Begonia Festival here in Capitola - nothing much, just forwarding questions and generally making a nuisance of myself. Got my annual sunburn, though a half-hearted one at best.
Spent the evening chatting with family friends over scotch, many topics touched. I ended up chatting with Judi about school, my upbringing, and in general how I turned out, touched on my desire to get my teaching credential when I go back to school someday a long time from now.
In the midst of all of this, I told a story from the third day of my 7th grade year, which I will recount herein, and received an insight from Judi which, despite telling this story many times over the years, _I never got_.
( Story and insight within )
