A strange day
Mar. 16th, 2003 11:58 pmGot up around 11:00 when I was called by the Qoon, who actually got Mark into town. We had brunch at IHOP, which was good and highly tasty.
We had to have spent an hour or more at Satan's Pawnshop looking at games - I picked up a couple things for my monday game and my sanity, after we came to the conclusion that there weren't any new games for us to pick up that'd make the day. Called in Adriane (whose name I still don't know how to spell) and we ended up spending the afternoon listening to music (request for Believe from the qoon, etcetera) and playing Apples to Apples. The afternoon was over before we could count to three, and then we had game.
Game went well, we ran through a nice (congrats) plot by Bits. We're nearly through, I think, but we've not quite got all the pieces put together. So I'm pleased that game's looking up. I only hope tomorrow will work as well (I've been writing all weekend, but of course the closer we get to deadline, the more I think it's all crap. I'm still going to kill all my players, I'm just more concerned about it being entertaining for them.
Everyone around me was sick - jynx, Crim, Qoon, oh, and now, me. I'm praying that this is just stress hypochondria or something. I swear, I'm going to sleep through half of quarter break and still not work myself out of sleep debt. But I've got a mild headache, mild nausea, and a mild inability to stop shaking. So it's lots of liquids for me and some sleep. We'll see. If nothing else, I can blame my horrid unrest on the fact that tomorrow is the day Bush decides to blow up Iraq, that smug bastard. Our arrogance in foreign affairs alone is enough to make me sick.
All in all, good day, except for the sick thing. I hate sick. I'm repeating myself. I sleep now.
