So yeah. I angsted all over my journal a few hours back.

Continuez a droit:

Crim called shortly thereafter, asking when we were headed out. I kicked the Wolf off the computer and got us moving.

Candace called shortly thereafter. Her game had died for lack of player, since Jynx apparently wanted to finish his magic stuff and/or wanted to play it later. So I still have a good chance of playing Deep Green before the heat death of the universe, which is good, as well as delightfully surprising at that point. She said she was going to join us to drown her sorrows in a strangely flavored margarita. I was happy to have more people for the meal.

After the call I just sort of stared at the phone for a few seconds, then burst out laughing. Clearly, whoever's paying attention has a very very strange sense of humor. I was in shock that something I attempted to plan might actually go off. Teach me not to trust in the end.

Dinner was very tasty. Pepe's is, in fact, better than Izzy's was. I'm heartened. Their margaritas are very tasty and did not cause me undue harm. I had a burrito they called "The Beached Whale". This appears to largely be attributable to what you feel like after ingesting that much meat and starch.

Brazil was suggested as a movie to watch after the meal.

This was _supremely_ surreal and quite enjoyable when slightly blurred. The fact that it was co-written by Tom Stoppard certainly helps. I'll have to go back and watch it again before I can even hazard a coherent suggestion for what the hell it meant... or even a coherent analysis of one of the themes.

I'm now home, and happy, and sorta sleepy but not really. I love my life, perhaps even because of the unpredictability of it.

This one's beautiful... and I love the main characters. It's called Zebra Girl. Stranger than it sounds.
