May. 31st, 2003 08:05 pmSplit this afternoon between writing code (about 70% complete now) and working on the playlists for the CoC tourney. I've got somewhere between 40 minutes and an hour and a half for each of the half-dozen rounds, but I've only tested one. Admittedly, that one seems about right, but I need more music - these are three hour rounds (three? maybe four, but god help me if Ican produce playlists for a full 24 hours of creepy music which don't overlap. Creative playlists may ensue.)
One of the tracks has a little narrative vocal, not sure whether it'll stay, but it involves someone talking quietly about an experience with panic and terror - 'So... in I go, no fear, right? Wrong. Panic, in the pitch blackness. They said, swim down as far as you can, and you'll see the light. Well, I swam down as far as I could go, and I couldn't see the light... I couldn't see living...' Figure that little thing tossed in there might tweak the players a little. We'll see. Certainly tweaked me the first time I heard it.
