Like it says, I've spent the last couple days catching up on life down here in SLO. Stride's pestered me about getting the graduation stuff done, but I've had other things on my mind:

- Got a call Monday afternoon asking whether I could deal with some shirt business. I said I'd be getting back into town on Tuesday afternoon, and could look at it sometime around there. I arrived in town tuesday, after noon, and spent the afternoon asleep. That night, I performed the vitally necessary Annual Computer Nuke to make my system behave better; it worked only marginally, indicating to me an increasing need for a new computer, the poor thing.

- Finally got to my email Wednesday morning to discover that the email confirmation of the shirt request was 'could you do this by today'. Erm, no. Sorry. So I emailed back and apologized, and realized in the midst of all this that my photoshop was screwed, so I wouldn't be able to do it even if it had been something to be done earlier. Sigh. So the shirt place got an art fee from Polycon to do the work. Thought about asking Stride about it, but realized that it'd be a transfer nightmare and not worth the man-hours. So blah.

- Went to work on Wednesday, spent the entire day running around trying to get things done. Lots of things. Things of every shape, size, and color. It hurt. But I was caught up.

- NWN on Wednesday night went well, ended a little early. Our party is at five people now, and it's a bit unweildy. The LAN party is absurdly successful, tho, so we'll probably try to alter the venue a little bit, maybe split into two parties. Not sure.

- Realized that I was insanely behind on the music for Candace's COC tourney. Spent an hour or two on that, and I've got about 10 out of the minimum 12 hours I need, not very well balanced. The entirety of Round 2 is giving me problems. Bleargh. But I've made progress.

- Since people have been sending me large files and filling up my inbox on a regular basis, I recognized that I should pull down my mail to local storage ... often. This introduces problems of many sorts into my workflow, and I've been wrestling with that all day.

So it's been a week. I haven't gotten nearly what I want to done; I still have all the Weird Al tickets, and I want to get rid of those ASAFP, so that I can _not_ be the linchpin for the concert which I'll be having to get to from the wake on Sunday.
