Jun. 22nd, 2003 01:40 amFinished importing the 1996 Weeklies - in my current typesetting setup, it comes out to 55 print pages. If this keeps up, just the weeklies is going to make this thing 400 pages or more. Wow.
I'm posting the imported stuff to my projects page on my website as I finish it, year by year. Enjoy it if you like. I'll probably keep updating what's up there as I tinker with things; once I've got everything imported, it's going to be time for spell checks, fixing some of the page-long paragraphs I've created if I can (I say I've created them because while they were page-long before, I removed the strategic line breaks he had keeping it readable, when I imported them, so now they're a bit snug and difficult.), and playing with typefaces, layouts, additional content, and all the stuff that will make this planned tome into something worth having in one's library for generations to come, God willing.
Tomorrow, we drive north to the service, spend some time at the wake, and, if Rae's up to it, drive all the way back down for the concert. I'm not sure if we'll manage it; she looked very tired today.
