Polyverse 3.0
Sep. 21st, 2003 03:50 amThe Polyverse LARPs have been the best live-action roleplaying experiences I've had to date, and PV3, for its year of development and preparation, did not disappoint. I believe there was much much fun had by all, including Bunting, who seems somehow to enjoy being cornholed by fate the way he always is. I spent an enjoyable ten hours wandering around, having philosophical conversations about the reaver viewpoint and watching in glee as trillions of people died so that an ancient memory might be revived in mankind - so they might survive without being incorporated into either the Guild - slaves of order, or the Reaver, slaves of chaos.
All in all, it was a good day. My costume, which was a pain to acquire, came off nicely. My trenchcoat - a dress model rather than a 'keep that damn rain off me' model, was verra nice, and worth the investment, as was the black dress shirt I managed to acquire at the last moment.
Fun. Very sleepy now - staying up to give Rae a chance to sleep so she can get up early to get out of here. Will nap soon.
School starts monday. No late night plans tomorrow night.
