So let me explain. No, there is to much, let me sum up.

This week I passed one test, squooked another, and got back my WPE results which said I did indeed pass it.

This week I finally worked past a block in my head that was making it totally psychologically impossible to program - not a good place to be in my line of work, but it's better now.

This week I contemplated putting my DnD game on hiatus until I can write more material, and picked up a couple books with that as the goal.

This week I was invited north for part of the weekend where my brother is turning 21. That would be on the 10th, for you lot keeping score.

This week I was invited to join what I'd consider an incredibly ambitious project - a high-level game, technically DnD, with the characters as major political figures from several kingdoms around the world which the GM is working on, and we'll be defining as we create. Since the GM is a she, and hasn't had time to build up a bias on the gaming world as far as I can tell, I am very optimistic about this. (the she bit largely has to do with an irrational/unexamined bias I have in the belief that one half of the population has a better intuitive grasp of people interrelation than another, heh)

This week I solidified my feel for the bus system, which I think will become useful in the future so I can be more lazy and less moochy. Unlike large metropolitan districts, the busses here in SLO are quite pleasant.

This week, tonight, in fact, I purchased and read Endless Nights. Neal Gaiman danced a dance of roses and thorns, and left me hoping for more. Many vignettes left me delighted, many touched, many sad. A powerful artist indeed.

This week had its share of drama, melodrama, wonder, and delight, and while I am tired with noone to blame but myself, I continue to be satisfied that my life, strange though it is, is progressing generally in the direction I wish it to. That makes all the difference.

Isn't it just a bit recursively ironic that in two weeks, thousands of people will be rushing to play The Matrix Online - massively multiplayer RPG style?
