An interesting read for the geeks out there. social commentary. As above - I know I display 1 and 4 on occasion. 5 is something hindbrain I'm going to have pried out with a scalpel if I can help it, and 2 and 3 are just too evil to contemplate...

Eh.

Hey, not true - I remove things whenever I add new ones... usually.

Any case, new beasts which I haven't actually added to my site, since I'm a lazy bastard and haven't taken the time (plus whenever I look at the site I groan and say 'I should clean this mess up' and go find something else to do)

Shifters - A comic with a WOD-style setting, with an alternate cosmology and history. Good style, good art, writing's getting better all the time.

Black Tapestries Fantasy setting, unique storyline - since the dialog is at least occasionally drawn from RP, it's sometimes a little rough, and the plot feels it... but it's actually a very interesting ongoing story, which continues 180 years later in Kaerwyn

Commander Kitty I need say no more, just read it. Scotty Arsenault ownz.

Catharsis The story of a woman and her pet dragon. And his pet squirrel (bald). And their pet dustbunnies. And the wild cherries. And all this is going on in an inner city apartment. She's quite clearly mad.

w00t. Geek comic.

21st century fox Romantic comedy. Why do I like them when they're on screen when I can't stand them on film?

Fallen Angels Used Books Of my recent finds , the most unique.

Neko - And this would be the most surreal. It's occasionally very disturbing, but I _REALLY_ like Neko.

Unicorn Jelly I recommend reading this one. It's completely finished, unique presentation.

Think that covers the current set.

Gaming provides a potentially incredible outlet for philosophy and humor and so many other challenges. It's improvisational acting, and deserves more credit than it gets.

This time, I find myself again regarding the spectre of faith - a creature I find amazing, because despite my cynicism and skepticism, I have it. I willingly suspend disbelief, and have no problem simply _believing_ in something without the need for proof. Usually things for which proof is absurd, impossible, and silly to even attempt. Well, almost no problems.

Playing a philosopher, though, I got caught - took on faith something which I should have had a _ready_ proof of. Wyrmtaint, in this case, a spiritual poison which has no manifestation unless you look for it. Proving to somone that they're tainted - and that this spiritual illness is in fact the cause of some of their ills... that's a hell of a challenge. I hope to be able to meet it.

Stupid. Of course, now I have to go watch Contact again, imagine Dave emitting the powerful lines spoken by the councilmember at the end of the film. You know. Faith.

Amos filled his goblet and took a long pull, "...Every servant in the palace knew you were the new first mate within an hour after those boys finished work. It's all up in the wind, you can believe me."

Martin drakn the wine and said, "Thank you, Amos." He studied the deep red wine in the glass. "Shall I be king?"

Amos laughed, a good-natured, hearty sound. "I have two thoughts on that, Martin. First, it's always better to be a captain than a deckhand, which is why I'm a captain, and not a deckhand. Second, there's some difference between a ship and a kingdom."

Martin laughed. "Pirate, you're no help at all."
