More appropriately, room cleaning. I'm still organizing my room. Tonight, my closet got a once-over, including the boxes just outside it. I'm throwing away about a million stupid little cables and chunks of nonfunctional electronics that I appear to have been keeping for no apparent reason, and have emptied a box whose only contents were two games. The games cabinet also got sorted, finally.

I still have books all over the floor. Not enough shelf-space... yet. I think my quarter-long experiment with not having a desk is over, I think I'll want to have one so I can do some few things with my PC, and so I can have some books out for research work.

Basically, all this work is towards stabilizing my life so I can make sense of it. sorting things externally while I sort things internally. Hopefully it'll work, one way or another.

Mark came over at one point early on in this, I tried to be entertaining, but failed to have any energy in that direction... so he played Eternal Darkness and entertained me with his reactions to the sanity effects.

Doing _all_ my laundry, for the first time in a while; going to try to keep up on it, one way or another. Filled a pillowcase with More Crap For Goodwill, clothes I won't wear or can't. What clothing I've cleaned is getting _hung up_, like in the closet. Maybe in a while I'll have the time and money, will rebuild my wardrobe, and stop looking quite so scruffy.

Y'know, goals. Hell, maybe someday I'll get an interview for a job in SLO. Starting to be mildly concerned about that. I'm going to start looking around next week. Hey, [livejournal.com profile] wolf_of_mibu? You giving away your free Tribs already, or might I trouble you for one?

Sleep good. Can't sleep yet, still drying my clothing. Damn.

New music

Spend today working on a new version of my comics list - figure I'll update it more if the update interface isn't 'log in to unix shell on laggy remote system and edit a clunky flat file'.

Spent it listening to the variety of music I acquired from my brother (unknowingly) - a stack of CDs thrown into the garbage, which were saved from certain death and given a new home in my house. Some Incubus - I've found I really like their soft stuff, and their hard stuff ain't bad neither.

Tired. Going to eat sushi tonight, apparently a new place opened recently. This will be good.
