Aug. 10th, 2004 10:17 amWheeoo. That screams 'Geek - stay at safe distance' - someone just walked by in a shirt that says 'Megabyte me'. *shudder* I imagine he thinks it's clever, too.
Anyway. I'm relaxing into a new day at work. I'm wayyyyy behind writing characters today, but I think I'll deal with that tonight. Yesterday was one of those 'WTF did I do?' days - everything I touched either stalked off indignantly or bit me, capped off by my headphones taking an unplanned hiatus when the wire broke, leaving me with headphone...
I threw up my hands at that point, left work, went to the store, and got new headphones. And Samurai Warriors. Yay, another Koei game in the house. This one's similar to Dynasty Warriors, save that it's set during late Sengoku period. Such characters as the ninja Hattori Hanzo and the demon lord Nobunaga Oda (that fucker) grace the game, providing some vague education as to the events leading into the Edo period while allowing you to beat the shit out of vasty squads of peasants.
A week ago or so, I decided that I wanted to get the Airport Express, finally. It'd allow me to play music from my computer to the stereo without wires, and I wanted music sound that didn't suck.
The end result has been the acquisition of a new home entertainment system with surround sound, and the Airport Express. Money well spent - everything sounds a hell of a lot better. Playing Silent Hill 3 last week was good for messing me up and how.
