I suppose I was a little surprised, but I was looking up Monterey's Longitude and Latitude, and came up with this tidbit:
Average summer high: 68 degrees Fahrenheit
Average winter low: 61 degrees Fahrenheit
This, for those of you who wonder, is why SLO weather drives me nuts. A whole spanking 10 degree difference in average temperature, with the average high in summer almost 20 degrees lower than SLO. Just a bit of difference.
