World of Warcraft as method of regaining contact with old friends.

Just spent about 4 hours working with Alex, or, rather, David, since he doesn't go by Alex any longer, playing low level characters - He and a friend of his started a couple of horde alts - a priest and a rogue (david's the rogue), and I decided to join them, mostly because I'd like to get back in touch with David.

Started a Warrior, and we started hacking along together while yakking about many and various topics. Was amusing.

Becky visited me this weekend - left around 5 today - and we got to see Mr and Mrs Smith. That was a fun action movie, and I'll probably be purchasing it.

To step, Memento-like, further back still, my mother's banker used my checking account to pay one of my mother's bills this week, and I noticed it today when I couldn't buy.... well, _anything_. The problem was resolved, but I still have to wait till the transfer posts...
