The Week In Review
Sep. 8th, 2006 10:06 pmSo:
Disgaea 2 has me in love with it ; tactical combat cheese at its finest, along with pleeeanty of crazy content going along with my hack'n'slash. Fortunately for me, I don't play 40 hours a week anymore, so it'll last me until the end of time or something.
I've been working on updating documentation at work; we now have a demo Twiki set up, so all my new and updated docs are going into it so we can show how cool it is and convince people to start using it.
I've been playing Go at work for the past couple weeks, too; I've gotten better at the small game, and at understanding how to look ahead several moves; maybe I'll manage to get people to play a full game with me.
Sun Application Server's been entertaining me, too; I got time finally to play with it's ability to create clustered appservers and share session data between them. I have no idea how it'll scale, but actually setting up the cluster was very, very, very friendly. I'll test further next week.
My copy of 'Cobras in the Cockpit' arrived; Becky's declared that I'll have to find someone else to play it with. Ah, well.
