Almost Becarred.
Sep. 22nd, 2006 08:57 pmGot a call at 3pm today - 'Hi, we have a silver Prius in stock, first come, first served.' 'I'll be there in 15 minutes!'.
... 15 minutes later the car had sold.
An hour and a half later I've finished all the paperwork to get the next one that's coming in. This indicates to me that the other person who got the car before me clearly paid in cash. Lots of cash, in small, unmarked bills.
