Is justice just ice?

Work's continuing apace. I've re-arrived at the point in my head where it rankles me that there is an organization of over a hundred developers who feed their code into my group as the final arbitrators of quality, and my group has almost _nobody_ who really understands the technology from the developers' side.

So here I am, downloading an IDE and trying to understand J2EE again.
