Mostways through the week!
Sep. 6th, 2007 02:57 pmMaui's marvelous this time of year - warm, welcoming, and relaxing. I really don't have much to add.
Well, lemme at least give highlights:
- I have flipflops! they're comfy. For reasons unknown, they come with built-in beer bottle openers. I consider this a 'not-a-bug-it's-a-feature' feature.
- Costco had shorts I can wear! Loose, fit my no-hips, and come down below my knees.
- Snorkeling very pretty. I kinda relaxed extra-long instead of going out the second place, which was a shame, but meant I got to hang out in the sunny rain, and see a Monk Seal from afar. After hearing some of the characteristics of monk seals, my brain turned to making a monk seal changeling. Changeling book hasn't been opened all week...
- Been playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in my spare time since I finished the books I brought (and finished Batman: The Long Halloween, which I picked up in the local Borders). What an addictive little braineater.
- Got spanked at pinochle today - 50 to 500. Couldn't save a meld to save our lives.
- Picked up Heroes while we were at the airport. We've watched most of three disks over the course of vacation. Still so very good.
- Going to Ulalena tonight. This'll be the first Cirque show I've seen. I expect pretty.
- Didn't realize it was Thursday until about noon today. Wow, this week's gone by fast.
- Forgot my rent check on my DVD player when we left; spent the next few days chasing around ways to get the check to them. Hope they found it.
- I'm so laid back I'm almost lying down.
I knew if I wrote something like 'I don't have much to add' my brain would suddenly upchuck a pack of details.
