GTD to the rescue?
Feb. 28th, 2008 09:28 pmOne of my coworkers came to me with a bit of the air of a Jehovah's Witness and asked me if I'd heard of Getting Things Done a few days ago.
One of two or three times I hit Lifehacker before I put it in my bookmarks, it directed me to a site which has since vanished in a puff of justified drama (stalker ruined blogger's sanity). This site discussed setting up a GTD system using a Moleskine notebook, which introduced me both to GTD (which seemed appealing as a productivity scheme) and Moleskine, which appealed to me as a dead-sexy high-quality notebook. I love notebooks.
Now, I've been reminded of GTD and have actually picked up the book. Given how chaotic and overwhelming my work is atm, I'm probably _actually_ going to try it at this point. Wish me luck...
In other news, my brain is mush. I started this week knowing I would need massive alcohol to survive, and I've gotten it only one evening. Starting to smoulder a bit inside this skull of mine.
