I'm not supposed to be awake right now. I blame Queen of Wands

Three o'clock, and all's well.

Stolen from slashdot:

"'We believe it is necessary for Linux customers to properly license SCO's IP if they are running Linux 2.4 kernel and later versions for commercial purposes. The license insures that customers can continue their use of binary deployments of Linux without violating SCO's intellectual property rights.' SCO will be offering an introductory license price of $699 for a single CPU system through October 15th, 2003." After October 15, SCO says they'll want $1399. Better buy now.

These people must burn in capitalist hell for their stupid, _stupid_ trespasses.

My impression is that their accusations often rest on such flimsy excuses as 'the improvements were too fast for it to actually have been through true open-source development'. Rabid, I say.

My favorite measure of whether a system is up and solidly running is whether I've run the introduction for FF3 in emulation on it.

I have now. It's purdy, as usual.

Still cleaning. So much crap in room, and that's after more than a cubic yard was forcefully evicted, and two bags of goodwill clothing gathered. (gathering stuff for goodwill gets much easier when you realize that all of your shorts and most of your pants are about three inches too small)

Also wiring the VCR back up to my old computer. Should be able to start ripping videos again shortly.
