Dynasty warriors 4 came in today, with other stuff. It definitely fixes a lot of the bugs in 3, while having a slick style to it. The battle I just lost had me slowly stripping Lu Bu's generals away from him while he watched helplessly from his castle, followed by my slaying Diao Chan, who he apparently held a torch for, then I STOLE HIS HORSE, of all things, and he gets pissed off and rampages out of the keep and kills me. That was a _nice_ horse. Damn.
Went to see The Order. Good flick, plenty of flaws - the writing reminded me of some short-story fiction I've read, same primitive plot elements, but it was tasty. Made me want to reread early Finder stuff, with Jaeger and all. The Sin-Eater.
After spending yesterday grumpy, today was much smoother. Got my crack fix, and then some, and today I felt more human, more willing to deal with people. Something was..._wrong_ yesterday, and it wasn't just me. almost a week early, it was.
Another quiet weekend. Could get used to them, again. O'course, they'll never last.
Could've joined the Kadath crowd for drinking. Thought about it, and didn't, for several reasons, not the least of which being opposed to drinking as the purpose of a random gathering of people. No, strike that. I'm not opposed to it, I just don't feel comfortable participating in it myself. An important distinction.
