Frustration
Sep. 7th, 2003 12:36 pmBeen trying to get a process going for the preservationary measures I've been trying to work on - taking videos of old tv shows and saving them to DVDR. I think it enjoys thwarting me, because after I finally decided I'd figured out how to do it and had gotten a DVD burned correctly (I'd only been able to get one, so far, out of half a dozen or so), it decided to stop capturing. Of course, I only noticed this after letting it rip for half an hour and realizing it hadn't actually saved anything that it had shown onscreen.
I still don't know quite what I did to fix it. reboots didn't work, but a stop-and-start of the program just did. Verra strange.
Machines may love me in some situations, but I think my PC is feeling neglected, and wants attention.
