Fumbling around with the touches...

Was contemplating doing some kind of review-a-week thing on the comics I like, even while recognizing as basically a self-aggrandizing effort. If nothing else, it would force me to write in a coherent fashion on a regular basis, which is more than I do right now; my writing is already slipping badly. I know, also, that I'd be running alongside such places as Korsil.net, and if I got into the habit enough, I might even try to work with them. Really, it'd be for me.

Unfortunately, I started to try with one of the hardest first, a long time favorite of mine, Umlaut House. And I got as far as the below conversation before deciding just to post that and try again with the reviewer schtick later:

S: Cheddar.
V: Swiss.
S: Cheddar is better.
V: Ah, but swiss is bliss.
S: Yeah, well, so is ignorance.
V: Does that mean swiss is ignorance?
S: Look at all the holes!

Take that home with you. Swiss is ignorance.

I'm having trouble getting up the desire to set up linux on my desktop computer because it means going into my bedroom and working from an office chair, rather than sitting in the living room with my laptop (and jynx's sound system)
