How to tell you've become a fan of esoteric music:
You make a custom playlist from several of your favorite bands, and you realize that the average person has heard of _none_ of the groups, but probably heard tracks from half of them...
Delerium - Karma, Poem, Semantic Spaces, Spheres, Spiritual Archives.
Flunk - For Sleepyheads Only
Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger
Massive Attack - 100th Window, Mezzanine, Protection
Plaid - Double Figure, Spokes, Trainer
Telefon Tel Aviv - Fahrenheit Fair Enough, Map of What Is Effortless
Zero 7 - Simple Things, When it Falls
....
Cool.
(Massive Attack shows up everywhere, Delerium shows up in dance and new age collections, and Zero 7's track "on the waiting line" was in an ep of "Sex and the City". Not that I chose any of them based on that, just found out later... :-)
