I spent the grand majority of today writing up a very neat little setting for a series of games in Exalted. It centered around a wild tribe with Lunars as protectors, allied with a pair of exiled Fair Folk. Fleshed out a lot of cause and effect, started getting things nailed down, introduced the Fair folk's child as a PC, in general, had some really good plot seeds.

Then I started reading the Fair Folk book around 6. By 8:30 I was absolutely certain that it was, in fact, The Book Out Of Time, since I couldn't find enough solid information to make a system out of the game. There was character creation, system for Epic Events, and some charms, but only vague mention of important things like system for how hard the Fae have it to survive in Creation and stuff like that. After going through the book three times, I threw up my hands.

I'm going to have to kill them all. It's the only way they can atone for making yet another book that appears to have been produced by someone with an attention span shorter than mine.

I'm going back to writing games for d20, where I can at least attach something resembling system to my story. bloody hell.
