Six months gone.
Jul. 5th, 2005 01:08 amWow. It's been six months since I moved up here from SLO. I've adapted relatively well to being the master of my destiny, though I know if I don't find a circle of friends up here, I'll go mad, or worse, become a total hermit and go madder.
My job keeps me entertained and busy; I'm still working on a major project that I've been kicking at since damn near the first day I arrived. I'm arriving at the implementation phase, and it's big and scary. Would be scarier if it were a little bigger - if it were any larger, I'd need lots of documents I'm currently skating on.
I'm still doing little more than watching TV and playing WoW at home. I've a level 51 mage who I'm sadly pretty much done playing, I think - he's too simple. Not enough different abilities to add to a situation, just loads of damage. I'm working up a warlock, who seems to keep me well entertained now - level 27.
It's sad that I can sum up my status quo quite so simply. Last year was transitioning out of SLO, this one is transitioning into Seaside. I think next year will be far more interesting, as by then I'll have my damn car.
