Garfield without his unsubtle wit.

Was reading Tailsteak's site and he mentioned that a bunch of people on a forum were exploring how much different and _better_ Garfield was when you take out the cat's dialogue. Indeed, it takes a bland comic that hasn't changed much in years, and makes it... really, really depressing to be Jon. Without Garfield talking back, it's quite clear that Jon's so far around the bend he's seeing the other side. Take a look. You'll see what I mean.
