Gnat stole my subject

I can't actually remember whether I was humming that TMBG track before or just as I ran into Gnat's post, but I'm too lazy to think up another one when that's clearly the best possible.

I've survived another year. I'm pretty happy, despite the occasional hiccup. I'm getting into a game with Crim; origins start tomorrow, yay! I'm working, hard, and enjoying a lot of serious work and the occasional bout of bullshit. Also, starting to try to take control of some of the sillier situations in my job, like projects where the developers have been allowed to dictate architecture in ways they nevershoulda.

I'm learning Linux. I'll have technical knowledge in a broad-appeal OS if/when I leave this job.
