So, updates and stuff.

ObBitch: Summer colds suck. Suck suck suck. Okay, that's out of the way.

Mike came allaway up here for Labor Day weekend. That was rad.

We went and saw the brand new Great White in the Aquarium... he was cute and teeny... barely made the weight of the tuna in there.

On Sunday, I separated from our merry band for my cousin Dusty's wedding to Jana. It was up at Toro Park in Salinas... and it was beautiful. I stayed only for chatting before, and the ceremony itself. I congratulated the bride and groom and booked it outta there. No offense was intended towards my family; I just knew that that was the best time to get away...


I also ran a once-off, bastardized amalgam of Blue Rose and True20. The True20 system is Green Ronin's take on 'doing d20 right'. It lightens the system significantly, gives it a looser, higher magic system, and makes combat much quicker; it's entirely possible for a cave troll to kill someone in a single blow... I should know, I killed Mikes' gun-fu character with one well-aimed Spirited Charge, a critical hit with a great-axe. It was fun.

We spent most of last night and today playing ROTK 8.... wow, what a time sink.
