So I was bouncy when they announced the AppleTV with more features than I had even imagined, at a price comparable to what I expected to pay for my original expectations.
Too bad I can't get one. Bloody Jobs thinks that everyone who wants one of these things already shelled out for an HD television set, and the AppleTV device doesn't support anything less than a Widescreen HDTV.
Aargh. So instead of costing $300, it'd cost me closer to $700. Well outside the 'hey, I've wanted this for a while', complete with a grossly unnecessary hardware upgrade. Guess I don't get to participate in that revolution for a few years...
