Bend, Day 2
Dec. 23rd, 2007 10:55 amMadness. My mother has aimed my family at my journal for News Around The Bend. So, while she's posting these lovely polished emails, those of you wandering to my corner get the random crap.
Last night for me ended on a note of Apples to Apples; the rest of the mob went out for a hot tub in the snow afterwards. According to accounts I've overheard, this involved the younglings (Sam et alia) hopping out of the tub at random intervals to roll in the snow and pile back in. Lunacy!
This morning it's decided to rain down here at the cabin, and snow heavily up at Mt. Bachelor. We're kind of leaning in the direction of a '1, 2, 3, BREAK!' kind of day now, I expect to see a group headed for the sled slopes (in the RAIN!) and a group going to walk around the village (IN THE RAIN!). I'm kind of leaning towards not being in the rain, myself. Call me lazy.
There will be game playing, today. I think we'll be playing Last Night On Earth today sometime - the gift I got Sam for Christmas, a board game about surviving a Zombie attack, figured he'd enjoy, and apparently struck a chord with Dave, who's a zombie movie fan.
