Into the smoky blue yonder

Hm. I can see the smoke clouds peering over the hills still - the fires are still going strong. Flash Earth tells me the smoke is blowing south today, and while it still seems to me that the whole state’s on fire, I’m not seeing any suspicious plumes in the golden hills around San Luis Obispo - it’s relatively light there.
