Wasted time

Work today was slow and boring after my arrival, as noted. In the end, called jynx and mark and went out to get fishsticks. While they were on their way, tried to figure out why my laptop won't connect to the real Mustang Wireless network, only the nearby help desk node. The latter is useful, but only in bldg 14, not the rest of campus.

The help desk's comments were roughly 'hmm. Ooh, what's that command? I've never heard of that'. *sigh* they try so hard, but...

Game tonight ended short, so I wandered back to my room to tinker with things.

When I was about done with what I wanted to be done with, I decided to relax and open up Escape Velocity. Started playing the original game from scratch. Now have a nice new Argosy and it's ... erm... three am. argh.

it's also worth noting I have NWN working on this box now. jynx bought a copy, and I borrowed his media and used one of my own spare codes from the lan party. yay.

I go sleep now, hopefully tomorrows work will be interesting enough to keep my attention from wandering much.
