Amuses me that something so core to contemporary language is closely related to SNAFU and FUBAR.
So, uh, apparently I have been blessed with a brand new case of insomnia; I've been out of stock since somewhere around New Years, so I'm revelling in it. Anyone else wants some, a little goes a long frellin' way. I'm deeply pleased with my current vintage of insomnia - has spice, keeps me perfectly conscious until I can't fall asleep because I'm trying to decide whether I should just take an all-nighter and try to finish the rest of the case.
Oh, and for the record, fresh fish, homemade, kicks the living shit out of anything you get at a restaurant, in case any of you have forgotten. My condolences to those who disagree.
