(no subject)
Jan. 28th, 2008 10:17 pmToday, I got told that I was too cynical for a monday, and shortly later, _by the same person_, I was told to take vacation for the entire month of February.
I'm not sure he picked up on the irony of these two statements together, and I have no idea which was more in jest.
In any case, life is beautiful - should have the first half of what I need to have done, done, by the end of tomorrow... unless something else catches fire like things spent all day today doing.
Meanwhile, I'm moving all my music over to my new laptop. This involves yet another run of iTunes' craptastic importer, since I'm changing the drive letter my iTunes library runs on. So I started it running about an hour ago, have no idea how far it's gotten, except that it's ticking along execrably slowly, using up a tiny bit of CPU relatively constantly, more than it probably takes to keep the little indeterminate progress bar animated.
In short, the largest problem in my life (that I'm allowing myself to think about) is in fact absurdly petty. Huzzah!
